Veteran Treatment Services

In honor of your service to our country, beginning June 3, 2010, Rocky Mountain Roots will be giving FREE acupuncture treatments to Veterans.  Treatments will take place every Thursday from 10AM to 12PM at our Denver office. 

 

Treatments are given in a quiet, community style setting to encourage the healing collective of all participants.  When people gather together for a common purpose, this raises the energy and the healing potential of all involved.  Acupuncture is very effective for stress relief, insomnia, PTSD, high blood pressure, anxiety, depression, and overall well-being.  Please call or email for more information or to schedule your treatment.  

If you are an Acupuncturist or would like to donate your time to help a Veteran, we are in need of many types of volunteers.  Please contact us to volunteer.

Acupuncture is the insertion of very thin needles into specific points on the body. Acupuncture is safe, natural and non-toxic to the body. It is relaxing, therapeutic and an effective treatment for a large variety of conditions and diseases. Come experience Acupuncture Denver Style!

CHM is used to treat many diseases and conditions. Herbs can be taken in conjunction with acupuncture and with many forms of drug therapy. Side effects of herbal therapy are minimal and in many cases non-existent. Herbs are available in raw form (cooked to make a tea), powder form (concentrated dried herbs, mixed with hot water to make a tea), and patent form (pills or capsules to be swallowed with water).

Massage Therapy is the manual manipulation of the body’s soft tissues. Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Neuromuscular Therapy are the most common types. At our clinic, you are guaranteed a therapeutic experience tailored to your needs. Massage is a great adjunct therapy to acupuncture and is a great way to unwind.
